These are the adventures of me, a person who thinks she might be on the spectrum but doesn’t know for sure. Tired of vagueness and uncertainty, I have embarked on a journey to find the truth about myself.
As you can see in the picture, the path looks easy enough – no rutted tracks or fallen branches blocking the way, only a few leaves. But what will await me round the corner? The landscape looks beautiful, but how will it change along the way? The weather seems fair, but there is some mist and fog ahead.
The journey will not be easy, but it will be worth making. I will probably be sidetracked a few times by tempting little paths into the trees. I might stop quite often because I’ve heard a rustle and hope to see a mouse, or perhaps because I have spotted a shiny beetle or a beautiful mushroom. It will be a slow, meandering journey, but eventually I will get somewhere. I only hope that somewhere is a place I want to be.
You are welcome to follow me on my journey of self-discovery. Read my blog, and you can trace my footsteps, meandering and halting as they may be. I’d be glad for the company.
